About Karen Daluga
Impact Advising was created by Karen Daluga as a result of her experience and passion for helping students navigate the challenging college path.
Karen received a Graduate Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. She holds an MBA from De Paul University and an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University. She is a former college instructor at the College of DuPage.
Karen is an active member of a number of professional organizations, including the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC). She is the Chicago area community representative for HECA, and completed the HECA Training Institute.
Karen has studied college counseling, traveled to visit colleges and talk with admission directors, and attended national and regional conferences.
As a parent of three children, she has served as School Board President, President of the Parent-Teacher Association and a volleyball and basketball coach. All three children completed their undergraduate degrees in 4 years.
